In the past year or so, smart clothing has been making great strides, so to speak. One such mile marker are the $149.99 Under Armour SpeedForm Gemini 2 Smart Record-Equipped running shoes. Instead of wearing a fitness tracker like the Garmin Forerunner 225, you can simply lace these kicks up and go for a run. Equipped with a built-in chip, the shoes automatically track calories, distance, duration, pace, and splits, without the need for a nearby smartphone. Of course, you have to pair the shoes with an app after your workout, but even without smart tracking capabilities, their comfort, construction, and design make the pair a perfect fit for avid runners. When you consider the fact that you'll pay just as much (if not more) for standard running shoes, the Gemini 2 become an even greater value, and our Editor's Choice.
