Pros & Cons

The Thermaltake Frio OCK ($74.99 list) is a CPU cooler designed to work with a wide range of Intel and AMD socket designs, and intended for use by enthusiasts and gamers who want a more significant amount of cooling flexibility when overclocking processors.

The Frio OCK utilizes a dual-tower heat sink constructed from a series of 0.4mm aluminum fins, providing a large surface for heat dissipation. Two 130mm fans on either side of the heat sink guide air into and then out of the cooler, at a rate Thermaltake claims is up to 121 cubic feet per minute; a knob lets you adjust the fan speed from 1,200 to 2,100rpm, so youu can better balance the cooler's performance with its noise levels. The cooler is designed to safely cool CPUs with TDPs of up to 240 watts.

An all-in-one backplate design makes the Thermaltake Frio OCK compatible with most recent-model AMD and Intel motherboards and processors. Sockets supported by the Thermaltake Frio OCK include Intel's LGA2011, LGA1366, LGA1155, LGA1156, and LGA775; AMD sockets supported include AM2, AM2+, AM3, and FM1.
