Hands On With the Google Nexus 9

The Nexus 9 is an 8.9-inch tablet with a 2,048-by-1,536 screen, running Android 5.0 "Lollipop."

The back of the Nexus 9 is a nice black soft-touch material. The battery is sealed in, and the 8-megapixel camera makes a slight bulge in the corner.

The Nexus 9 is 7.95mm thick, a little thicker than the iPad Air and noticeably thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S.

Google's packaging for the Nexus 9 is very simple.

I have very, very mixed feelings about the weird space bar on the new Android Lollipop tablet keyboard.

As with most Android tablets, I'm a little worried that app developers aren't formatting their apps for this screen size. Really - you couldn't do two panes?
