Tales of Xillia 2 features the best combat in the series to date, but the novel approach to plot progression, flat storytelling, and awkward design choices weaken what is otherwise a very fun game.

Ludger gains powerful hammers and pistols as the game moves forward. The hammer is slower than Ludger's other arms, but deals massive damage to enemies.

The link system is vital to mastering the combat system. Ludger can team up with other party members to perform unison attacks and unique special attacks.

Tales Of Xillia 2 (for PlayStation 3) : Choices and Personality

Ludger is expressive, but never says much. Story-wise, there is a spoiler-ish reason for that, but his silence makes his interactions with other characters disappointingly bland.
