Trello (for Android)

Trello is a collaborative app that uses kanban, a method for organizing and moving work through a system. It involves boards (usually similar to projects), columns, and cards. Shown here is a card about a trip to Vietnam in the column Travel Plans in Progress.

Trello was designed with collaboration in mind. Whenever multiple people are involved in editing a card, their profile pictures or icons with initials appear at the bottom of the card preview in the Android app.

Some of Trello's functionality simply works smoother and with more fluidity in the Web app than in the Android app. An example is moving cards. In the Web app, you move a card using the drag-and-drop method. In the Android, it's impossible to see your entire Trello account at once, so moving cards requires a manual selection instead.

Creating and adding color-coded labels (aka tags) to your cards helps you sort, organize, and find them.

Adding a star to any Trello board ensures you'll be able to find it quickly when you visit your list of starred boards in the Android app.

A collapsible right-side menu lets you jump to pages for members, activity, archived cards, archived lists, and more.

Pulling up a list of activity from the menu options provides you with the most recent changes made to your Trello boards and cards, whether they were actions performed by you or a collaborator.

Trello's Android app has a fair number of settings, including the ability to select a custom sound notifications, choosing whether you want a vibration notification in addition to sound, and putting the app into a mode that considers the visual needs of color blind people.
