LastPass 2.0 Premium

The online vault that lets you access your passwords and private data from any computer doesn't look noticeably different in the Premium edition of LastPass 2.0.

Clicking the LastPass button in the browser brings up a menu from which, among other things, you can select and use any of your saved logins.

If you enable YubiKey authentication, nobody can log into your account even if they guess the password, as the YubiKey is also required.

When YubiKey authentication is enabled, you'll be prompted to insert the device and touch its sensor. This sends a one-time password that's keyed to your LastPass account.

For another type of multifactor authentication, download the LastPass Sesame tool to a USB drive, run it, and enable Sesame authentication for your account.

After you enter your LastPass master password you'll be prompted for a one-time password generated by Sesame.

Run the Sesame application from your thumb drive and click the button to generate a one-time password which you'll then paste into the waiting dialog box. You can also launch LastPass directly from Sesame by checking the "launch browser" option.

LastPass Premium users can make use of the IEAnywhere application on computers where they don't have permission to install plugins. IEAnywhere runs from the system tray.

Once you've logged in with IEAnywhere, all of your stored login credentials become available from the tray icon's menu.

IEAnywhere inserts a tiny icon in one corner of the Internet Explorer window. A menu invoked by clicking this icon lets you fill forms or autofill credentials for the current page.

A LastPass Premium subscription lets you install a mobile edition of LastPass on almost any smartphone or mobile device. You can also restrict access so that only specific devices are permitted to connect, and revoke that access if a device is lost or stolen.
