Kaspersky Total Security: Main Window
The main window for the PC edition of Kaspersky Total Security features a status banner across the top, with eight large panels devoted to eight important security features. Kaspersky Internet Security look very similar but only has four big panels.
Kaspersky Total Security: Additional Tools
On the Additional Tools page you can view real-time network activity and dig into a variety of reports. This page also gives access to a number of useful tools, among them a vulnerability scanner, a privacy cleaner, and a secure deletion file shredder.
Kaspersky Total Security: Data Encryption
Like many suites, Kaspersky offers to store your sensitive files in an encrypted "vault." Unlike most, it starts the process by asking which files to protect, and finishes by offering to securely delete the originals.
Kaspersky Total Security: Files for Backup
Kaspersky's backup wizard starts by asking which files you want to back up. You can choose several predefined collections, or identify your own list of folders for backup.
Kaspersky Total Security: Backup Destinations
Initially, your only choices for backup destination are local drives and Dropbox. You can arrange to save your backups to a network drive, a removable drive, or an FTP server. However, you can't back up to optical media, and Kaspersky doesn't offer hosted online storage for backups.
Kaspersky Total Security: My Kaspersky
From the My Kaspersky online portal, you can check the status of all your Kaspersky installation and even launch a scan, check for updates, or turn components on and off.
Kaspersky Total Security: Mac Protection
Kaspersky Internet Security for Mac is a closer parallel to its PC equivalent than to Kaspersky Total Security on the PC. It's definitely a security suite, but it doesn't have the same range of features.
Kaspersky Total Security: Android Protection
Kaspersky Internet Security for Android naturally includes full antivirus protection. When you run a scan for malware, the shield icon shown here changes color to reflect scan progress.
Kaspersky Total Security: Android Anti-Theft
You can locate, lock, or wipe your protected Android device remotely, either by logging in to My Kaspersky online or by sending it coded text messages.
Kaspersky Total Security: Limited iOS Protection
There's no antivirus or suite component for iOS devices, but you can install the cross-platform Kaspersky Password Manager and Safe Browser.
