T-Mobile is adding two LG smartphones to its lineup—the G Flex and Optimus F3Q.
The un-carrier is the latest U.S. firm to offer LG's G Flex—the world's first curved, flexible smartphone. Customers can pre-order the G Flex online now; it will launch nationwide on Feb. 5.
With T-Mobile's unlimited Simple Plan, the G Flex is zero down, with 24 monthly payments of $28; buyers will also have the choice to opt into a six-month Netflix trial.
The G Flex's 6-inch OLED HD display reduces glare from ambient light, promising a better video-watching or game-playing experience while on the go. Running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean on a 3,400 mAh curved battery, the device comes with a 2.1-megapixel front cam and a 13-megapixel shooter in the back.
A Rear Key operates the phone's power, volume, and cameras with the touch of a finger.
If you're looking for something a little less bendy, T-Mobile is also offering the Optimus F3Q, a QWERTY-keyboard-enabled handset with a 4-inch IPS TFT display, running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It also sports a 5-megapixel camera with enhanced features.
The phone will be available next week for zero down and 24 monthly payments of $13.
Each device is integrated with familiar LG-only features like QuickTheater for instant access to videos, photos, and entertainment apps, as well as QuickMemo, which lets users write or draw with their finger on any screen shot or photo.
There are more LG products on the horizon, as well. The South Korean company today confirmed its LG G Pro follow up—the LG G Pro 2, set to be unveiled next month during Mobile World Conference in Barcelona.
