The Moto G5 Plus has a 5.2-inch 1080p LCD. It's crisp and has good viewing angles, but hard to see under direct sunlight.

The phone has a metal unibody build and is available in gray or gold.

Apps

There's really no bloatware to speak of. The only extra app you'll find is the Moto app, which lets you configure gestures and the Active Display feature.

A combined SIM/microSD card slot can be found on the top; it worked with a 256GB card.

Android

The G5 Plus ships running a nearly stock version of Android 7.0 Nougat.

There's a volume rocker and a ridged power button on the right.

The bottom has a 3.5mm audio jack and a micro USB port that supports Motorola's proprietary Turbo Charging.
