Snapfon ezTWO (Unlocked)

The Snapfon ezTWO is a solid no-frills phone geared toward seniors with a handy SOS button for emergencies. But some flaws prevent it from nabbing our Editors' Choice award for simple phones.

The top portion of the back panel of the phone holds the camera lens, and a large, red SOS button. Holding it for a few seconds activates the phone's emergency functions, including sounding a siren alarm, sending up to five text messages, and alerting emergency contacts and emergency responders (when using the OneCall service).

The volume rocker and a dedicated camera button can be found on the left side of the phone.

On the right panel is a pair of plastic sliders that control the underpowered LED flashlight, and a keypad lock, which prevents accidental presses.

On the top of the phone is a lanyard hole and LED flashlight. The built-in light is so underpowered it's virtually useless, barely lighting anything more than a few inches away from the phone.

A standard 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro USB port for charging and connecting to a computer are on the bottom of the handset. There are also two electrical contacts on the bottom panel for charging the phone with an optional charging dock.
