Pros & Cons

The SDI iHome iH5, the first iPod clock radio, is sleek and white, but many of the less important controls are awkwardly hidden on the rear. That aside, the iH5 is a fantastic first effort, letting you wake to AM or FM radio, an alarm, or your iPod. It offers all the essential clock radio functions, including a sleep timer, snooze button, and a backup battery (in case of brief power outages). Best of all, the speakers are good enough that you'll want to use the iH5 with your iPod even when you're awake.
