Comindware Project is an online project management service with a clear interface for creating new projects, adding tasks, keeping track of time spent on tasks, and more.

When you first get started with Comindware Project, the site coaches you through an on-screen, interactive tutorial.

You can view active tasks in a variety of ways, including this Gantt chart, to see when various people will be busy working on assignments.

When you add new users to your Comindware Project workspace, you can assign them a role based on the appropriate permissions levels.

In the profile section of Comindware Project, you can schedule your unavailable dates, such as vacation or maternity leave, so your team members will always know when you will be out of pocket.

Another way to view tasks in Comindware Project is based on when they are due.

While you can discuss individual tasks right within the task assignment, sometimes it makes more sense to create a Room to house a more general discussion. As you share your thoughts, you can tag people or entire teams who should see them. Rooms can be private or public to the entire organization.

Comindware supports timesheets for time-tracking, but it doesn't have a built-in timer for automatically logging time spent on tasks.
