Most, if not every gamer, is biding their time until "StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty's" midnight release. Since its release date was solidified for July 27, gamers have been lying in wait for the sequel to this epic trilogy.

According to reports from The Escapist, analysts predict that the game could sell as many as 7 million copies by the end of December. These numbers seem dwarfed by the 7 million copies "Modern Warfare 2" sold on day one of its release, but its numbers are heightened because of its multi-platform release.

"StarCraft 2" will only be available for PC and Mac, but retailers don't seem to be worried. GameStop stores and other retailers all across the nation are keeping their lights on, so gamers can receive their pre-ordered copies at 12:01 AM sharp Tuesday.

We here at PCMag are anticipating our copy; stay tuned for our upcoming review.
