LG has been busy hyping up its upcoming G Watch lately, and the Korean electronics giant is looking to keep that momentum going with a new teaser video showing off the Android Wear-powered device.
The dramatic video spot doesn't actually reveal any new information about the high-tech timepiece, but does give us a pretty good look at it from all angles. Check it out below.
The new video comes after LG last month launched a teaser site showing off the G Watch, which is expected to launch later this month running Google's new operating system for wearables. The square-faced watch sports a "minimal and sleek design" and will come in either "champagne gold" with a white band or "stealth black."
In terms of features, the watch promises to give you "useful information when you need it most," such as directions and calendar reminders. It will be voice-activated, letting you simply speak the phrase "OK Google" to do things like search the Web, set a reminder, or send a text.
The G Watch will also be water- and dust-resistant, so you won't have to worry about it getting ruined in the rain or rough conditions. Unlike Samsung's Gear smartwatches, the screen on the G Watch will never go to sleep, meaning it will always display the time when you look down at your wrist.
The new wearable will likely make its debut on May 27 alongside LG's next flagship phone. LG recently sent invites to members of the media for a series of events that day; the company is widely expected to unveil both the G3 smartphone and its G Watch in an action-packed, worldwide press tour.
