Want Mark Zuckerberg in your circle of Google+ friends? Good luck finding the real one.

The Facebook founder apparently has not one, not two, but at least three profiles on Google's newly launched social network, billed as Facebook's biggest rival yet. While most people are temporarily blocked from joining Google+ due to demand, it looks like three versions of Zuckerberg made it past the velvet rope.

1. On Wednesday the following profile (click to enlarge) appeared on the blogosphere, with most thinking or hoping for it to be the real Zuck. After all, a photo of the blue steel facial expression can't easily be found through a simple Internet search. Under his "About" page the Introduction simply reads: "I make things" and features a Google map showing his residence of Palo Alto, California.

2. Then CNET picked a tweeted screen grab of another, trash-talking and now-defunct Mark Zuckerberg profile, which may be an early manifestation of the current "Fake Zuckerberg".

3. We also discovered the following "Mark Zuckerberg" Google+ profile, though it sounds like there's a teenage fangirl behind the stock photo. The intro reads, "Hi everyone, I just wanted everyone to say that facebook is the best and google+ it never will be!"

Days into the public launch of Google+, the site appears to be experiencing the same issue of imposter profiles that Facebook and Twitter have had to deal with for years.

Facebook, meanwhile, plans to "launch something awesome" next week, Zuckerberg said Thursday, which could be the long-awaited Facebook iPad app.
