If new BlackBerries make you drool, Boy Genius Report is serving up some extremely tantalizing treats lately. Over the past 48 hours the site has slowly leaked out images and specs of what it says are four upcoming devices from Research In Motion (RIM), maker of BlackBerry products.

The latest alleged leak is of a new BlackBerry Storm, RIM's attempt at a touchscreen device similar to most popular smartphones on other platforms. The Storm 3 is said to sport a higher-resolution 3.7-inch display at 800x400 pixels, an optical trackpad, and a 1.2GHz processor.

Previously, BGR revealed what appear to be new models of the BlackBerry Curve, Torch, and a "flagship" phone called the Dakota, apparently based on the BlackBerry Bold. Highlights include a 1.2GHz processor on the Torch, a 5-megapixel camera on the Curve, and 3G mobile-hotspot capabilities on the Dakota.

Interestingly, many of the models are said to include radios that enable near-field communication (NFC). With NFC, the phones would also be able to act as credit cards at some retailers. There are several efforts underway, including one backed by three major mobile providers called Isis, to take this technology mainstream this year. Very few current phones have the technology, however.

RIM told us it would not comment on the apparent leaks.
