Apple's beautifully redesigned iPod touch is still the leading do-it-all MP3 player, but the new $300 entry-level price might make it a tough sell.

The new Apple iPod touch has a longer 4-inch, 1136-by-640 screen.

The iPod touch is clad in colored aluminum that wraps around the edges of the device.

The colored aluminum cladding, at least so far, has resisted the kinds of chips we've seen on the iPhone 5.

The new iPod touch has a 5-megapixel camera on the back, with a flash.

The headphone jack, speaker and the new Lightning port are on the bottom ofthe iPod touch.

The "loop" button pops out of the back of the iPod touch, allowing you to add a camera strap.

You slide the color coordinated strap over the metal loop and it locks into place.

The point of the strap is that it lets you secure the touch around your wrist, like a digital camera.

The iPod touch comes with Apple's new earPods headphones, a nice bonus.

The earPods add bass to the iPod listening experience; they're the biggest change in Apple headphones in years.
