Android 2.2 will bring faster Web speeds, Adobe Flash, automatic app updates, better mobile hotspot capabilities, and several other features to the Droid X, according to Verizon Wireless's Web site.
Droid X owners don't have to wait for the upgrade to be pushed out—they can manually request it starting Wednesday, September 22 by choosing Settings > About Phone > System Updates from the phone's main menu.
