Pros & Cons

MLB 2006 Specs

ESRB Rating: E for Everybody
Genre: Sports
Platform: PlayStation 2
Platform: Xbox

Easy to learn and fun to play, MLB 2006 just might be the best PS2 baseball game this year. The new Release Point Pitching with Pitcher Confidence Meter lets you control the speed and location of your pitches. You'll need a careful eye for fielding, where player attributes are combined with the gamer's skill at making catches and throws. Multiple modes include Home Run Derby, Exhibition, Season, Career, and Franchise. Graphics are fair, with a 2D crowd and barely acceptable player models, but stadiums look realistic down to the smallest detail, and you can control base runners individually. (For PS2 and Xbox)
