Pros & Cons

Log on with one touch, using this mouse and fingerprint-scanner set. After you install the software, a helpful wizard quickly walks you through the process of making test scans of your fingers. When you're done, you can touch the fingerprint reader to log on to Windows, or set it to log you on to commonly visited Web sites. (You're probably better off thinking of this as a fun time-saver, not as airtight security.)

When multiple people are using the same computer, they can touch the fingerprint reader to switch accounts. The included right-hand mouse is an excellent five-button model that fits the hand well and is easy to maneuver.
