Who knew Mario was such a party animal? In the eighth installment (yes, eighth!), Mario and pals invade your Wii with a host of new minigames and game boards. The Wii remote adds a new flavor to the minigames and keeps things fresh, which is pretty impressive, considering this series has been around for so long. That said, Mario Party 8 is not fundamentally different from the previous seven games. It's a party game that is a ton of fun with friends, and not so much fun to play by yourself. If you liked the previous games, you'll probably have fun with this one, too.
