Pros & Cons

With the affordably priced PilotBoard, Kensington shows that you don't have to pay a small fortune for a multimedia keyboard. The PilotBoard is slim, so it fits in any keyboard tray, and the keys have an especially responsive touch. It doesn't feel quite as sturdy as a Logitech or Microsoft keyboard, though, and the detachable wrist rest is made of hard plastic. But we like the full set of programmable function and media keys, as well as the scroll wheel on the left-hand side and full stereo controls in the top center.
