Confide uses clever tools and great design to keep your messages safe from snoops and screenshots, but it's not texting-as-usual.

Confide Confidentially

To view a message in confide, drag your finger across the dots below each colored block. As you move, the words will be revealed. This makes it difficult, though obviously not impossible, to screenshot.

Inbox

Once you close a message, it is immediately deleted though a record of it remains in your inbox. Note that when you use your phone's screenshot feature, the message is immediately destroyed and its sender immediately notified.

Compose a Message

Composing a message in Confide is done in plaintext. Note that you cannot attach media files.

Find Your Friends

You can find people you already know in Confide by connecting your Facebook or Contacts list to the service. The developers say that your information is hashed, and never stored on their servers.
