Making movies on the iPad just got a lot easier with the new Adobe Voice animated video app.

Available for Apple's tablet, the service uses a combination of your own recorded voice, imagery, music, and cinema-quality motion graphics and effects to create shareable videos - no filming or editing required.

Adobe Voice is aimed at creative professionals, nonprofits, small business owners, and students. Shareable via social media, email, and personal blogs and websites, the videos can be viewed on virtually any device, including smartphones and tablets.

"Adobe Voice puts the power of Creative Cloud's industry-leading video and audio technology into the hands of the masses," Winston Hendrickson, vice president of products for Adobe Creative Media Solutions, said in a statement. "We believe Adobe Voice, and other mobile apps expected in the next few months, will continue the momentum we're seeing."

The software company replaced its market leading Creative Suite in May 2013 with the new Creative Cloud—Adobe's software subscription option. For $49.99 per month, users can access all applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, After Effects, Muse, and more.

Stop swiping through boring slideshows and instead add your own voice—literally—to presentations with 60- to 90-second videos that take minutes to create.

"Just press record, say a sentence, and pick an image. And then you just say the next sentence and pick an image," senior product manager Tom Nguyen said in a video. "After about a minute of recording, you've just made a video."

Adobe Voice comes with story starter and example videos to get the ball rolling. Once inspired, you can choose from the app's library of more than 25,000 graphics or add your own photos, apply animated effects, and set the tone with music.

And don't worry about usage rights: a credits and attribution page is automatically added to the end of all videos to account for every Creative Commons image.

The free application is now available to download in the iTunes App Store; it requires an iPad 2 or newer device and iOS 7.
