PlayStation users can now view Twitch video streams across all devices with the new PS Vita app.

Like the PlayStation 3 app, Twitch on Vita allows you to watch live and recorded video of top games, players, and e-sports events; follow channels and games; and discover new PlayStation broadcasters and other streamers across the platform. Just grab the portable console, download the app from the PlayStation Store, and turn on the data connection.

Twitch, meanwhile, remains busy, recently launching new features like Clips, which let you take snapshots of interesting things on other people's streams, and Cheering, which lets you financially support favorite streamers.

Last last month, the company updated its emoji guidelines for butts, poop, and "'gasms," removing 332 symbols from its database of about 52,000.

Sony's four-year-old PS Vita has its own dedicated titles, but also streams some PS3 and PS4 games. Vita owners can take advantage of the PlayStation Store's July free-games sale to pick up gratis copies of Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines, Prince of Persia: Revelation, and the Paragon Starter Pack.
