Pros & Cons

Hoyle Card Games 2005 Specs

ESRB Rating: E for Everybody
Genre: Board/Puzzle
Platform: PC

Hoyle has been publishing card and board games nearly forever, it seems; this year the company has the poker bug, offering variations on hold 'em and draw poker. You can set up your on-screen persona with the Facemaker and even customize your outfit for the tables. The AI is robust, though it's geared toward novices and intermediate players.

Once you've had your fill of flops, bluffing, and chip counts, you can relax with other traditional games such as bridge, crazy eights, gin, and 45 different versions of solitaire. Bonus solitaire and spades games are also included for Palm OS and Windows CE handhelds.
