If you liked Baldur's Gate, Oblivion, or even old-school table-top D & D, this game is for you. This open-world fantasy adventure starts with your building a character from one of the three core fantasy races: human, elf, and dwarf. Next up, you pick a class and social strata. Afterwards, you play through your own origin story before joining up with the legendary "Grey Wardens" to fight a darkness that is taking over your world. The best part of this game is the radial controller that allows you to quickly plan your party's attacks and kick some serious demon butt. Again, if you are a fan of swords and sorcery you won't find a better game this year. That being said if you do get this game, be prepared to spend 25 or more hours playing it if you want to see the end.
