Pros & Cons

The Apple iPod lets you take your music with you, but the DLO iDirect lets you enjoy your tunes while you're vegging on the couch. This iPod remote comes with two pieces: an IR controller and a receiver that attaches to the top of your iPod. Plug your speakers into the audio jack on top of the receiver, and you've got an excellent shelf-size stereo system. The remote lets you pause, skip backward and forward in a song list, change volume, and turn off the player (it won't let you select different artists or playlists). Because it uses IR, the iDirect can also work with teachable universal remotes.
