If you're looking for a unique PC, Samsung has quietly released its ArtPC Pulse tubular desktop.

Reminiscent of Apple's Mac Pro and HP's Pavilion Wave, the 10.7-inch-tall machine is available now to pre-order on Amazon starting at $1,199.99.

The ArtPC Pulse is more than its trash-can aesthetic, though: Not only can it power your Google searches and Facebook stalking, but an integrated Harmon Kardon 360-degree omni-directional speaker lets you jam out while creating PowerPoint presentations.

Amazon also tips removable expansion modules, as well as an optional 1TB HDD component (sold separately).

Other specs include a 2.7GHz sixth-gen Intel Core i5 processor, a 256GB SSD, 8GB of RAM, and a Radeon RX 460 GPU, as well as HDMI and USB-C ports.

A pricier $1,599.99 model with a Core i7 processor keeps the 256GB SSD and RX 460 GPU, but ups the ante with a 1TB SATA hard drive and 16GB of RAM.

Expected to launch on Oct. 28, both versions hit Amazon last week, with understandably little fanfare from Samsung, which has been dominating headlines recently with reports of exploding Galaxy Note 7 smartphones.
