Good news, Samsung Gear VR owners: Now you can watch Hulu on your headset.

The streaming service on Thursday launched a new virtual reality app that works with Samsung's VR wearable. At this point, the app only offers around 25 pieces of VR-specific content from providers like Discovery, Showtime, National Geographic, and Viacom, though Hulu said it plans to continually add more over time. And while the app just works on the Gear VR at the moment, Hulu plans to support additional VR platforms in the future, according to the company's Head of Experience, Ben Smith.

"At Hulu, we are inspired by great storytelling and are passionate about evolving the art and experience of storytelling in TV and movies," Smith wrote in a blog post. "360-degree content puts you in the middle of the action and gives content creators the ability to create much deeper visual, auditory and emotional immersion. VR lets the content creators transport you into their world — to help you feel what it is like to be present, to be in the moment."

One piece of content you'll want to check out via the app — Hulu's first originally produced VR short film dubbed The Big One, which "invites users to witness a meteor shower that soon turns into an apocalyptic nightmare." Subscribers can also watch Hulu's library of regular ole' 2D content via the app "in 360-degree, fully-immersive viewing environments" like a virtual movie theatre, swanky living room, or pretend beach.

"We are at the very beginning of VR and like everyone involved in VR technology and content, we at Hulu, have a lot of learn about what makes for a great VR experience in the eyes of the viewer," Smith wrote. "We are super excited about our first steps into VR."
