But Sprint's bundle, if maintained for 12 months, costs more than Amazon's annual Prime price tag.

Sprint customers can now add the cost of Amazon Prime to their monthly bill.

New and existing Sprint users can access movies and TV episodes, music, Kindle ebooks, unlimited photo storage, Lightning Deals, and free two-day shipping for $10.99 per month. Just go online (sprint.com/amazonprime), call (1-800-SPRINT1), or visit a brick-and-mortar Sprint store to sign up.

Look out for a text with the activation link to complete registration, then start shopping for goods and streaming entertainment from anywhere.

Amazon Prime on Sprint

"With this monthly add-on, Sprint customers will have great flexibility and will have the opportunity to easily access Amazon's full entertainment package on America's fastest LTE network," Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure said in a statement.

There's one small catch, though. Sprint's bundle, if maintained for a full 12 months, works out to $131.88 annually—more than Amazon's $99-per-year price tag. Sprint notes, however, that the option allows users to "avoid an upfront payment," while CNET says subscribers can opt out at any time rather than getting locked into a year-long subscription via Amazon. So if you want to keep the kids entertained during summer break and cancel when they go back to school, it could be a good deal, but if you plan to stick with Amazon Prime, you might as well sign up via Amazon.
