Activision and Infinity Ward/Sledgehammer Games brings international conflict to consoles and computers this fall with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. The $59.99 game, available for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, hits store shelves November 8th.
The latest entry in the insanely popular franchise is a cinematic FPS (first-person shooter) that sees players engaging enemy combatants in New York City, Paris, Berlin and other global locations. COD:MW3 features a new progression system lets gamers earn experience and increase their ranks. The higher the rank, the more weapons, air support, and gear armories they will have available to customize, which will let them change their tactics on the fly. A cooperative Survival Mode also serves as an effective training tool for competitive multiplayer action.
Killstreaks have been redesigned, and a gun progression system evolves your weapons over time. Along with new perks, 16 maps and enhanced private match customization, multiplayer has been re-balanced.
