A newly redesigned LinkedIn Android app brings welcomed changes to the look, and some slight changes to functionality.

Managing invitations to connect and other requests from your professional network is much simpler in the redesigned LinkedIn mobile app. It's almost easier than doing it on the full LinkedIn website!

LinkedIn's mobile app also makes it easy to keep up with your existing connections. From this list, you can quickly send someone a message or remove them from your professional network.

The feed page, showing updates from people in your network, has a card-style view with sharing and commenting buttons that are easy to access.

Avid LinkedIn users will want to keep up with who has viewed their profile. The new LinkedIn Android app has a very clear stats page, and even more information for Premium subscribers.

An entire menu page of other apps by the company LinkedIn seems a bit gratuitous.

The search functionality in the LinkedIn Android app is pretty decent, looking for jobs and people with the title of the keyword you enter. What it doesn't do, however, is search first within your own network to assist you with the hook-up you might need.

Push notifications are handy in the LinkedIn Android app, but finding this page to manage them isn't so simple, unfortunately.
