The current generation of Honda Civic is ending its lifecycle with the 2015 model year, but the accumulation of tweaks to the existing platform have made the compact car a lot more impressive. The 2015 Civic offers a comfortable ride, a spacious interior, and high safety ratings. And like a lot of compact cars, the Civic has seen a trickle-down of technology like keyless entry and ignition, smartphone connectivity, and Honda's innovative LaneWatch blind spot camera system. It's held back from greatness by a frustrating infotainment interface on higher trim levels, but overall, the 2015 Honda Civic EX-L Sedan is a strong return to form after a disappointing 2013 model year redesign.

How Much?
The 2015 Honda CivicSEE IT comes in seven different versions, each with its own trim levels. We tested the four-door sedan variation, with trim levels including the LX, which starts at $18,490, the SE at $19,990, the EX at $21,190, and the EX-L at $22,840. We tested the top-of-the-line EX-L with Navigation that came fully loaded at a base price of $24,340. After adding a destination charge of $790, the vehicle had a final sticker price of $25,130.

What Does It Come With?
The 2015 Honda EX-L with Nav comes equipped with a 1.8-liter, 143-horsepower, 4-cylinder engine and continuously variable transmission (CVT). Standard features include 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry and ignition, power side mirrors, power windows and door locks, an 8-way power driver's seat, heated front seats, a power moon roof, cruise control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Tech amenities include the 7-inch touch-screen Display Audio interface with navigation, LaneWatch blind spot camera system, a multi-angle rearview camera with dynamic guidelines, HondaLink smartphone integration, HD Radio, SiriusXM satellite radio, Pandora and Aha Internet radio, Bluetooth, two USB ports, an HDMI port, and an aux-in jack.
